Report including the definition and planning of the use cases that will be set up and open for free-of-charge access to users with dedicated calls for transnational access. The three use cases have been selected to assure that they are representative for excellence-driven and market-driven transnational access for the two components of the Physical-infrastructure (METRO and FOOD)

and wide access to the e-infrastructure, with the three different access modes: i) physical access to the food pilot plants, addressed to food business operators; ii) remote access to the transmission electron microscope facility for physicochemical characterization of nanoparticles in food, addressed to researchers; virtual access to two e-services for open data use, mainly addressed to researchers, laboratories, food inspection instances and policy makers (a search engine and database for agrifood reference materials and official methods, and an application programming interface (API) to a risk evaluation tool).
