Between October 22–23, 2025, the National Research & Development Institute of Food Bioresources IBA Bucharest is organizing the workshop entitled “From mapping to action: a co-creation pathway towards gap identification and thematic clustering”, as part of the European project FHERITALE.

From September 22 to 24, the 8th edition of the IMEKOFOODS conference took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Its goal was to bring together leading scientists working in various fields related to the food sector, such as authenticity, traceability, nutrition, food safety, quality, and risk assessment, where metrology plays a crucial role.

In many countries and regions across Europe research contributes to policy making by providing research-based advice to policy makers/civil servants under different forms. This is especially challenging in supporting sustainable food systems transition because of the need for policy coherence across multiple policy areas and stakeholder interests.
