HIGH-LEVEL METROLOGY SERVICES IN FOOD AND NUTRITION FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Coordinators Info Day

At the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Coordinators Info Day held on November 9, 2023, in Brussels, three selected MSCA ITN projects—EuPRAXIA-DN, FoodTraNet, and PERSEPHONe—showcased their experiences in fostering synergies with other projects and initiatives. Prof. Dr. Nives Ogrinc, coordinator of FoodTraNet, provided in-depth perspectives on the project experiences in synergy with other ongoing projects, including METROFOOD-RI.  Among the topics covered there were authenticity and traceability of food products, with a focus on METROFOOD, as a research infrastructure that provide high-quality metrology services in food and nutrition especially talking about value chain, sustainable development, food safety, environmental safety, and human health.
