“Diagnostics, traceability and digitalisation for a sustainable agri-food system: from the European METROFOOD-RI infrastructure to the national METROFOOD-IT infrastructure”

Labotec is the new smart event, dedicated to laboratories and analysis. The 2025 edition will be held on 28 and 29 October at Fiere di Parma.

On 29 October from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Science Area 2 of the Conference, there will be a workshop organised by METROFOOD-IT, a research infrastructure which, through the Department of Chemical, Life and Environmental Sustainability Sciences of the University of Parma, aims to promote dialogue between laboratories, businesses and institutions on crucial issues such as food quality and safety, product authenticity and traceability, offering metrological services to support the sustainability of agrifood systems.

The key theme of the Workshop is how to face the challenges imposed by national and European regulations in the field of food safety thanks to the METROFOOD-IT research infrastructure, created with the aim of providing metrological services to support the sustainability of agrifood systems for the evaluation of quality and food safety, the authenticity of products and traceability.
